Lipstick Colors for Fall![]() Guess what gals … It’s National Color Day! Besides Christmas, this could be my very favorite day of the year! I love color y’all! Color has such transformative power on our look and our attitude. It’s probably no coincidence that National Color Day happens during fall, because the season is defined by the color changes happening all around us. Our clothing and makeup changes even reflect fall’s sense of richness and warmth. Pantone, the world-renowned authority on color, releases a palette of trending colors each season and it’s fun to see what colors they select. This fall, the colors are inspired by the desire for tranquility, strength, and optimism. Pantone says, along with anchoring earth tones, exuberant pops of vibrant colors also appear throughout their collection. Colors named Warm Taupe, Dusty Cedar and Potter’s Clay are featured alongside blues like Riverside and Airy Blue. But a vibrant purple with a hint of pink called Bodacious, could be the real star as far as I’m concerned. I love that these colors are right on target with my beautiful new fall lipsticks! Who knew I was this good at picking colors?! ;) My new face kit Glam Girl made her appearance earlier this month, and now I want to introduce you to three of my perfect fall lip colors! I’ve said it before, but it’s worth repeating…I want ladies to think of makeup like they do their wardrobe…makeup should change with the seasons! When I think spring and summer, I think pinks and corals. Now that we’re definitely into fall, I think of more plums, brown undertones and even shades of raspberry.
Lip colors can make a world of difference in a look. Don’t believe me? Just try a more vibrant lip color with your everyday makeup and see how your face changes. It’s such an easy way to make a statement and have fun with color! My top three lips for this fall start with a light, neutral shade for a casual, every day look called Vintage Plum. It’s very simple, or what I’d call a “throw on and go” lip. I absolutely adore Vintage Plum’s softness that is a perfect mix of plum, pink and brown. Also, remember to change your liners with the season and for Vintage Plum I recommend the universal liner, Berrywood. For a lip with a bit more pop, I offer my Raspberry Freeze lipstick. It has a bit more color with that berry undertone, which is absolutely perfect. My Jewel lip liner is the perfect partner to Raspberry Freeze. Alright gals, hold onto your makeup bag, because this season’s showstopper color is … Wild Thing. And oh boy … Wild Thing lives up to that reputation and more! This lip color looks very purple in the tube, but when it goes on, it’s that beautiful bold lip. With Deep Orchid lip liner, it creates a lip that gets the reaction: “Wow, her lips are amazing!” And let’s be honest gals … I‘ve got some amazing and WILD Pop of Pink shoppers! Ladies, enjoy the changing season and all that it brings - holidays, family time and gorgeous colors! Have fun with a new look for fall/winter; start thinking plums, browns, berries. And in honor of National Color Day, remember, that by simply changing up your lip color, you can create a whole new look!

Pop of Pink’s Fall/Winter Face Kit![]() We are officially feeling the fall season with colors, flavors (hellooo pumpkin-spiced everything!), and finally, a bit of chill in the morning air. The shift in seasons also means it’s time for me to announce my newest Pop of Pink Face Kit - Glam Girl! I think you are going to love the newest Face Kit family member. Glam Girl is oh-so- versatile, yet oh-so- simple to use in oh-so- many ways … all season long! Whether you’re out with the family picking the perfect pumpkin (latte?) or you’re headed to a Christmas party, Glam Girl will have you looking and feeling your best! My vision behind each Face Kit is to create the option of multiple looks with one simple color scheme. I want women to think of their makeup like they think of their clothes! We change clothes seasonally with the weather and the colors - and likewise, you can change your makeup to suit the season. My Face Kits make it so very simple to have fun with seasonal colors, while changing things up! Stay Simple I want you to be able to pull the Glam Girl Face Kit out in the morning and wear it SIMPLY, if you choose. Put on the all-over neutral shade and a bit of the taupe color … blush on a bit of Pop of Pink (of course!) … add mascara and go about your day, simply! Be Glamorous Now, turn a simple look into a GLAMOROUS look. For happy hour, or a night out, add a beautiful pop of the pink-plum color to really vamp up your look. The darker color can really define the top lid and the corner of the eye. Going for a glamorous look shouldn’t be difficult; it simply means adding intensity to the color or making the edges cleaner! Create Expression Makeup should be fun, not daunting! Use it to EXPRESS YOURSELF. Many clients want to play with color, but often tell me how overwhelming it can be to choose from the many colors available at makeup counters. This is exactly why I created my simple-to- use Face Kits. The new Glam Girl Kit makes it easy to get out of your comfort zone and try a pop of color when you’re in the mood! Last spring, I released a lavender color that, at first glance, many customers weren’t sure if they could pull off. Once they saw how easy it was to add a touch of this ‘pop of color,’ they were in love. Now, Glam Girl features a spicy terra-cotta color to brighten your eye and add a bit of fun to your look. I want women to use my Face Kits with confidence, knowing that their makeup enhances their beauty, while fitting right in with not only the season, but whatever occasion they are celebrating! I’d love to show you personally how Glam Girl can help you get in the mood for fall! Come in to see me at the Glam Bar or give me a call to schedule a session or social with friends. And be sure to sign up to receive my emails about upcoming events and special deals just for clients! Happy Fall Y’all! XOXO -- Stacy |
